Welcome to the GDPR Ready project
Organisations come here to work through a self assessment questionnaire that mirrors the UK Governments Information Commissioners Office (ICO) ‘12 steps to take now‘ document.
Those that have completed the self assessment are declaring that they are broadly ready for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules that are due to come into force in May 2018 and can optionally make their listing here public.
If you are new here and want to complete a self assessment and optionally list your organisation please follow the instructions below. The whole process, assuming you are compliant with all twelve points on the assessment, should take no longer than 15 minutes.
Self assessing here
Start the process by reading about the GDPR on our summary page here and following the links to the ICO’s web site, then when you’re ready to complete the self assessment, follow these steps;
You can complete the assessment in part and return to it later. After completing this process we’ll send you the GDPR Ready logo for use on your own marketing materials, please link it back to this web site.
If you’ve come here to look for a listing please go to the directory here where you can search for organisations that have self assessed as broadly ready for the GDPR and opted in to making their assessment public. If you don’t find what you are looking for please ask the organisation to come here and register.
Note: We are not recommending any of the businesses listed in the directory, nor are we attesting to their readiness for or compliance with the GDPR.
